PortaScript is a software solution to a pharmacist to approve prescriptions at a remote dispensing facility, commonly referred to as a “TelePharmacy”. PortaScript works side-by-side with your existing pharmacy software solution. This means that PortaScript is only used when prescriptions are being approved remotely.
PortaScript is available as an on-premise installation, or as a cloud solution. If you choose the on-premise solution, your data resides in your facility, under your complete control. If you choose our cloud solution, your data is housed in a cloud server that is dedicated to your pharmacy. No matter which option you choose, there are never any per-prescription fees. Whether you remotely dispense 50 prescriptions per month, or 5,000 prescriptions per month, your cost never increases.
